Destinations
From harbour towns built around superyachts to island chains reached only by seaplane, explore the destinations that define modern luxury travel — and understand exactly how to get there.
Editorial Introduction
A luxury trip rarely begins with a hotel or a villa listing. It begins with a destination that matches the season, the occasion and the way you want to travel — by private jet, by yacht, or by some combination of both.
Each Viatar destination guide is organized the same way: how to fly in privately, which airports and terminals actually make sense, where to stay, what to charter, and how the costs and logistics fit together across a typical visit.
Use the region filters below to narrow the destinations shown, or open any guide directly for a complete, vertical-by-vertical breakdown.
All Destinations
Each guide covers private aviation access, yachts, villas, vehicles, dining and events for that destination.
Planning Approach
Start with the season. Most luxury destinations have a defined window when weather, event calendars and social life align — outside that window, villas and charter availability can be excellent value, but the experience will feel different.
Next, consider access. Some destinations, such as St. Barts, restrict the aircraft that can land directly, which means factoring in a connecting flight or helicopter transfer. Others, like Miami, offer multiple private airports with very different arrival experiences.
Finally, decide whether the trip is built around a residence, a yacht, or both. Villa-led trips suit longer stays with a fixed base; yacht-led trips suit itineraries that move between several bays or islands.
Seasonality
A general guide to when demand — and pricing — peaks across Viatar's featured destinations.
| Season | Destinations at Their Best | What to Expect |
|---|---|---|
| Winter (Dec–Feb) | St. Barts, Dubai, Maldives | Peak Caribbean and Gulf season; villas and yachts book far ahead. |
| Spring (Mar–May) | Monaco, French Riviera, Miami | Grand Prix week and shoulder-season Mediterranean weather. |
| Summer (Jun–Aug) | Ibiza, Mykonos, French Riviera | Peak Mediterranean charter season; book six months ahead. |
| Autumn (Sep–Nov) | Miami, Dubai | Lower humidity, fewer crowds and softer accommodation rates. |

Questions
For peak-season travel — Mediterranean summers, Caribbean winters or destinations tied to a major event — six to nine months is a realistic planning window for villas, yachts and the best private aviation slots. Off-peak travel can often be arranged with a few weeks' notice.
Both matter, but flight access shapes everything else. A destination with a short-runway airport, like St. Barts, changes which aircraft you can use and may require a connecting flight. Understanding access first helps you plan realistic timings for the rest of the trip.

Yes. A Viatar advisor can help sequence several destinations — for example, the French Riviera followed by Ibiza — around flight routing, yacht positioning and event calendars.
