Where Viatar may receive a fee if a planning request results in a confirmed booking, that relationship is disclosed and kept structurally separate from the team that writes and reviews editorial content.

Research draws on aggregated operator rate cards, published fee schedules, airport and terminal disclosures, manufacturer specification sheets and broader market reporting. Where figures are estimates rather than confirmed prices, we say so explicitly.

We prefer primary sources — operators, manufacturers and official authorities — and supplement them with reputable secondary reporting when primary data is unavailable. Every cost guide links to a methodology note describing the sources used.

A researcher drafts each guide against current source data. A second editor then checks claims, figures and comparisons for accuracy and tone before the page is published. Content involving technical claims — aircraft range, yacht specifications, airport regulations — is checked against a subject-matter reviewer where relevant.

Published and updated dates appear on editorial pages so readers can judge how current the information is. Guides are revisited on a rolling schedule, and material changes in pricing or availability trigger an earlier review.
