Car driving along a coastal destination road

Miami

Wide highways, valet parking at most hotels and restaurants, and a strong exotic car culture make Miami one of the easiest cities to rent a supercar. Tolls on expressways such as I-95 are largely cashless and billed to the rental provider. Recommended vehicles: convertibles and exotics for South Beach, luxury SUVs for family trips.

Monaco and the French Riviera

Narrow streets, steep hills and scarce parking make Monaco better suited to compact, high-presence vehicles than large SUVs. Hotel valet is standard and expected. The Riviera's coastal roads between Nice, Cannes and Monaco reward grand tourers and convertibles. Tolls on the A8 autoroute are frequent.

Ibiza

Narrow, winding roads connect villas to the island's beach clubs, and parking at popular venues fills quickly in peak season. A compact luxury SUV or convertible is generally more practical than a wide exotic. Delivery to villas is common and often preferred over airport collection.

Dubai

Long, fast, well-maintained highways and extreme summer heat make air-conditioned performance SUVs and supercars equally practical. Salik toll gates are automatic and billed to the renter. Dubai has one of the deepest exotic fleets in the world, with many vehicles available for same-day delivery.

Los Angeles

Freeway driving dominates, and traffic can be significant at peak times. Parking at hotels and restaurants is generally straightforward with valet service. Convertibles and grand tourers suit the coastal routes toward Malibu and Laguna Beach.

Milan

A limited-traffic zone (Area C) in the city centre requires a permit or fee for entry, which most providers can arrange. Milan is a practical base for driving into the Italian Lakes and Alpine passes, where grand tourers and performance vehicles are well suited to the roads.

It depends on your home licence and the rental destination. Many providers accept a standard licence from major countries, but an international driving permit is recommended for travel outside your home region.
